Back!

I am now back in Cambodia!

On return from the airport I was surprised at the number of people now wearing helmets on mopeds - previously pretty much unheard of. It seemed most people had them on. New Years resolutions??? No - This could only mean that the police were pulling people over and starting to enforce the law [that previously the Chief of Police had said could not be dealt with until people had registration plates - too many laws at once was too confusing!!].

Sure enough on Sihanouk Bvd I saw a police block and witnessed my first stop. This involved a policeman literally jumping out infront of a driver. I saw one guy practically run the policeman over and he got away. The girl behind him was not so lucky.....
